The Wenbeck Wedding & Events Center, located in Lewis Center, Ohio, was the perfect space for Heidi & Rusty’s November Wedding Ceremony & Reception. They had a beautiful, sunny afternoon for their outdoor-ish wedding ceremony in the Pavilion, before everyone moved inside the main ballroom for the wedding reception including cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing.
The Ceremony
One of the coolest elements of their ceremony was the home plate at the altar. Because baseball has been such an important part of their lives, it only made sense for them to get married at home plate.
The Reception
Another cool element of their wedding day was their guest book, which was actually a baseball jersey their guests signed throughout the evening. After Cocktail Hour, it was time for the introductions, the blessing, and dinner. After dinner, we heard from the Maid of Honor and the Best Man.
First/Parent Dances, Group Photo & Sing-a-long
In addition to Heidi & Rusty’s First Dance, Rusty shared a dance with his Mom, we took a quick group picture, and then we got everyone ready to dance with the “7th Inning Stretch,” as everyone sang along to “Take Me Out To The Ball Game.”
The Dancing
The Sparkler Send-Off & Private Last Dance
After their last dance with their guests, their guests lined up for a Sparkler Send-Off outside the Wenbeck Wedding & Events Center. As their guests were heading home, Heidi & Rusty came back inside for a private last dance together.
Heidi, Rusty, and their guests were all so much fun to work with! I loved all the ways they personalized their wedding day and all the cool baseball related elements they were able to incorporate into their wedding day! Brady and I had so much fun being a part of their wedding day!
