Carly & Roy had some amazing weather for their October wedding at Bryn Du Mansion, one of our favorite Licking County Wedding Venues, located in Granville, Ohio. They put so much thought into every element of their wedding day, from the introduction before the ceremony, to the decorations, and every element of their reception! It was so much fun to be a part of their wedding day! Awesome families and friends, great vendors, and lots of amazing memories!
The Wedding Ceremony
The Formal Garden was the perfect space for their outdoor ceremony. The space was beautiful and sunshine and live musicians helped to create the perfect vibe. Carly and Roy had so many awesome ideas that really personalized their ceremony. One of my favorite ideas was the “run of show” at the beginning. Her dad welcomed everyone and set expectations by sharing a brief order of events… and then the ceremony began!

Cocktail Hour
Guests enjoyed appetizers and drinks on the patio, while also having the opportunity to get photos taken inside the mansion as well.
The Reception: Introductions, Welcoming, & Blessing
The reception took place under a tent behind the mansion. After Carly & Roy were introduced, we heard from Roy’s Dad, for The Welcoming, and Carly’s Brother, for the Blessing.

The Speeches
After dinner, we heard from the Best Man & Maid of Honor for some great speeches!

First Dance & Parent Dances
After the speeches, it was time for Carly & Roy’s First Dance, and then the parent dances. Carly & her Dad had something special planned. It was definitely unlike any other Bride/Father Dance that I’ve seen before. It was so much fun though!

The Table Dash
I love the Table Dash for a few reasons. If done well, it can still be accomplished in 1-2 songs. When the guests have some time to plan their poses, it can be a lot of fun too! Chances are, at least one of the newlyweds will be up in the air at some point in the process. This was no exception…and the entire process was super fun too!

The Group Photo
If you’ve read the other blogs, you know that I love having a group photo before the dance floor opens.
1. It’s an awesome picture.
2. The dance floor starts out with more people

Later In The Evening
Once the dance floor opened, there was so much energy and good vibes on the dance floor all evening long!

I always feel fortunate to work with amazing clients like Carly & Roy. I had so much fun collaborating with them through out all the pre-wedding planning and communication. They had an amazing group of vendors that made the day flow so smoothly. Belle from Devoted To Details did an amazing job of keeping everything on track, the food from Berwick Manor was amazing, and Susanna Rose Photo captured all the memories! Additionally, Carly, Roy, their friends, and family had some great song requests, and they kept the energy going on the dance floor through out the evening.
A huge thanks to Susanna Rose Photo for sharing all of these great pictures. You can learn more about her by following her on Facebook and Instagram and checking out her website.
Congrats again and thank you so much to Carly & Roy for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day! It was so awesome to see all the planning details come together, the awesome vibe through out the day, and the energy on the dance floor!
